Breakfast at Valerie's

We love this place. Great place to take a family. Big portions and affordable. Our favorite is the chicken fried steak and strawberry crepes.It I always busy and there is a wait after you sign in. The food is awesome and worth the wait and hour drive to get there.

This place was really busy when we came in for breakfast, but the quality & portions of the food made it clear why. You get a lot of good food for a good price here & the service wad pleasant as well. I recommend The Perfect Breakfast cuz it really is perfect.

Great atmosphere at 7:30am. Staff was friendly and lively. Food was excellent and fresh. Large portions for the cost. Bright and clean restrooms with one of the nicer changing tables I've seen.

My husband and myself came here for the first and will not back. There was a wait of about 6 people and as you can see by the pictures there was plenty of seats. Staff would see us but didn't come sit us or acknowledge us. After like 5 minutes we got sat and then left again to just sit there for way longer than needed. The waiter was honestly the best part of this experience. The food is BLAND! The French toast was soaked in butter making it inedible. Between bad service, bland food, and a higher than worth price makes this a SKIP IT place. More for 65 years and older.

There is no hostess to write your name down for your party but you have too. Which was fine. The food is amazing and you get a lot of food. The service was great and would go back.

Came here for breakfast on a Sunday, traveling from South Africa. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised with this place! The food was great! The service even better! Thx Tori for your wonderful and friendly service! Keep it up! If there's a queue when you arrive here it's worth the wait! I will return when ever close by again.

Valerie's is comfortable, spacious, and every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the portions were impressive. It is definitely one of the better breakfast spots in Vancouver, especially for the price.

Delicious food. You get your money's worth here. Large portions for a reasonable price and this is coming from my cheap husband. Friendly and quick service. Definitely recommend if you are in the area and need to have something to eat. Expect to spend about an hour or two here.

I picked this place due to the high rating, and it pretty well lived up to the hype. They've got typical diner fare, with a few original dishes. Service was pleasant and the food was fast. My boyfriend got an omelette, and it was fairly large, although I'm not sure that's the size they all are, since he ordered one that came with the potatoes inside. He said that, both, it and the pancakes were very good. I got the patty melt, and it was also rather large. Really, my only complaints were that they didn't salt the meat (or, if they had, it wasn't much) and it really could've used being cooked with salt; also, that they used that gross American Swiss cheese (which is really just white American, heh) instead of real Swiss, which is common, if albeit difficult to understand. That, and there aren't any gluten-friendly options, which, in this era is unwise and also simple to remedy. Other than those few issues, however, everything was good and I would go back.

Be prepared to eat like a king & queen. The plates and servings are huge,love this place ,its a hidden gem ,the wait time Is no more that 10 min ,max. the staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. Also great prices.
